We are proud to say that Janie’s Transportation and Childcare has been serving the community since 2001. We love catering to our children. We keep things simple, and we are proud to say that we are SEPARATE FROM THE REST, as we take the stress off of busy working parents on how to get children to and from school. We provide a safe haven to go to after school as well.
We are separate from the rest because we are the first school transportation company that started within our community. We noticed a high demand as many parents were asking for private school transportation services since they did not exist back then. By the time we gave birth to private school transportation, a lot of school transport businesses followed after us. However, we are proud to say that we are the first within our community!
We also have a great relationship with all our schools, clients, and children, so much that 21 years later, we are still in contact with some of our children, that started as babies in our childcare. That is how reliable and compassionate we are!
Our Mission
We provide childcare that allows busy parents to feel comfortable that their children are safe and making productive use of their time before and after school. We focus on helping with their homework while giving children time to be children in open and unstructured play spaces. We serve a proudly diverse group of families and their children, a safe environment for children’s development and work daily to introduce them to the beautiful cultures that make our community. We encourage imitative play, so children develop the social skills for years to come. A nurturing environment while parents are at work. We also offer nutritional meals and snacks regulated by the state, in addition we also provide transportation to home, after the after-school program is over.
Our Vision
The ultimate vision we have is for children to be happy at our childcare and enjoy commuting to and from school. Our goal is for parents to feel good about their childcare and school transportation choice. We want the children to reminisce at their experiences with us and see it as a enjoyable part of their childhood.
